To the Christian, all things are possible. Anything is possible, this should be your mentality because you can make anything work.
The Christian is more than a believer, he is a child of God and lives in the realm of God. This realm is a realm of possibilities, where all things are possible. There is nothing impossible for the Christians just as there’s nothing impossible for God. The word says;
Jesus looked straight at them and answered, “This is impossible for human beings, but not for God; everything is possible for God.” Mark 10:27 GNB
God lives in the realm of possibilities because He is Omnipotent. He is the Almighty God, the creator of the whole universe. All Christians live in this realm with God because we are in Him.
Don’t Try To Believe And Don’t Struggle To Believe Just See It
It is a sin for a Christian to be trying or struggling to believe. Contemplate if something is possible or not for you is also a sin. A Christian is not someone trying to believe, he believes and even goes beyond believing. He’s more than a believer; he’s a possessor. All Christians are possessors of eternal life. Not all who believe Jesus actually receive Him into their hearts, but those who receive Him into their hearts move from being believers to being possessors.
Believing therefore is the nature of the Christians, we believe all things. Because the Christians believe all things, all things are possible for us.
It is a big error for a born again Christian to be struggling to believe; what are you doing with your faith? You can’t say you have no faith if truly you are born again otherwise you’ll be a liar. How did you become born again in the first place if you don’t have faith? No one without faith has ever been a Christian, your faith gives you access to the blessing of God.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10 NKJV
You have to believe before you can confess Jesus as Lord otherwise you are not born again. You see, you have faith.
The Words Of Jesus
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Mark 9:23 NKJV
Most preachers quote this scripture many times in trying to make people believe for miracles but it is wrong. This verse does not apply to Christians but to non-christians. You have to understand the people Jesus was talking to here, they were not Christians. Before the death of Jesus Christ, no one could be born again, I mean no one. It only became possible for people to be born again after the coming of the Holy Spirit, after the ascension of Jesus to heaven. New birth is the supernatural act of the Holy Spirit in an individual who confesses Jesus as his Lord. So, the man Jesus told ‘all things are possible to him who believes’ wasn’t a believer. But this does not apply to the New Creation, we are believers and possessors of divine life. We possess Jesus and He possesses us. You can say this with confidence, ‘Jesus is mine!’. Oh hallelujah, what a blessing and a privilege!
Every Christian Has Faith And Believes
If you are a genuine Christian, do not think you don’t have faith. Do not think you have to get faith from somewhere by all means. Thinking this way will give the devil advantage over you.
You have faith, that is what the word of God teaches. Read this;
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. Romans 12:1-3 NKJV
You see, the third verse of that scripture says God has dealt to every man a measure of faith. Note, it didn’t say, God ‘will’ but rather ‘has’ meaning He’s already done it. God gave you faith when you heard the gospel of salvation that caused you to believe and receive Him. You have faith in you right now, however, you must act on the word.
Build Up Your Faith
The truth is, you have faith if you are genuinely born again but you must build up your faith. What God gave you is a measure of faith; it’s like a seed which you must plant and grow. Growing your faith is building your faith. If you don’t grow your faith you won’t be able to effect changes in every aspect of your life. You must grow the measure of faith you’ve been given to cover every area of your life. The word says;
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, Jude 1:20 NKJV.
“But you, beloved, build yourselves up on [the foundation of] your most holy faith [continually progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], pray in the Holy Spirit,” — Jude 1:20 AMP.
If you want your life to be wonderful, build up your faith. Amplified says: make progress, rose like an edifice higher and higher; I like that. You see, building your faith is a process of rising higher and higher. It is also a process of making progress.
No devil has the power to stop your progress in life if only you would build up your faith. I give you three ways to build your faith:
Pray in the Holy Spirit
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, Jude 1:20 NKJV.
Praying in the Holy Spirit will help your faith to grow. The best way to pray in the Holy Spirit is by praying in spirit, that is in unknown tongues.
For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful. 1 Corinthians 14:2, 14 NKJV
When you pray in tongues it is your spirit with the help of the Holy Spirit praying. Holy Spirit is the one who gives you utterance and you talk to God not to men. Speaking in tongue is a great blessing to us Christians, so learn to play in tongues often.
Whenever you desire to build up your faith for something spend time praying in tongues. As you think about that thing, pray in tongues. As you study the scriptures, pray in tongues. When you talk about it, pray in tongues and before you know it your faith will grow until you see the desired change.
Study the word of God Always And Listen To Anointed Teachings of The Word
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 NKJV
In the first place faith came to you when you heard the word. This is the primary every man must receive faith. But now that you have faith you must grow it and one of the way to grow your faith is by reading and listening to the word.
When a Christian keeps listening to the word of God, it’s not to get faith, No! No!! No!!! And a thousand times No! When a Christian continues to reads the word of God and listen to messages it is for his faith to be built up. The word of God instructs us Christians to build up our faith.
Act Your Faith: Walk By Faith
………“The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17 NKJV
For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7 NKJV
Acting your faith is important and you act your faith by living and walking by faith. You see, the epistles are written to Christians not to non-christians and in the epistle no place are we told to get faith. The reason is because Christians already have faith, howbeit must act their faith. Because it is important for us to act our faith we are told to live by faith and walk by faith. Living and walking by faith will boost your faith thereby making it stronger and stronger. Live by the word of God only, do everything the word says because it is the way to build your spiritual muscle.
Jesus Didn’t Tell Christians To Have Faith
So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. Mark 11:22 NKJV
These were the words of Jesus to His disciples before His death, that is before they became born again. They were not Christians at this time; Jesus was still busy at this time teaching them. He spent most of His time teaching them the kind of life God expects them to live after His death, resurrection and ascension. These guys were struggling to live like Jesus was living at the time because everything was new and strange to them. But something happen after the Holy Spirit came on them which changed everything. This time, they were not trying to believe, they only kept acting on the word because the Holy Ghost had changed them. Timid Peter became bold and daring and with the rest shook the whole world with their faith.
Do Something With Your Faith
For the Christians, faith is no longer a problem because we all have faith. If you desire a change in certain area you don’t try to believe for a change, you effect a change. Do something with your faith. Your faith is not for decoration it is given to you to effect changes in every area where you desire a change.
If you believe you don’t have faith and have to get it and you are a Christian, then I feel sorry for you. This means you have been deceived. You Of course have faith but have to build it for it to cover every aspect of your life.
Your Response To The Word of God Is Your Faith In Action
“Whenever you respond to God on the basis of His Word, you’re sure to have a testimony. That’s because faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God.
God’s Word always requires a response from you; that response is the proof that you believe the Word. And to the one who “believes,” anything is possible. That means you can do anything, have anything, go anywhere, be anything, as long as you believe. What is it to believe? Believing has nothing to do with mere mental assent; it’s not passive; it’s active. Believing is an action word; it’s the verb of faith.
It’s Possible To Have That Desired Change
The question then is, what do you believe? And what can you believe? It doesn’t matter what the problem is, if you can believe, all things are possible to you, and with you. So, it’s about what you believe. What you believe, you become. Believe that you can be pregnant and bring forth your own children! You have to believe that you can walk again! Believe that you can see again! Also, believe that you can be whole again!
Perhaps sickness has attacked your home or you have a loved one that’s suffering terribly from a debilitating ailment, and medical science says there’s no cure. For the Christian, there’s no such thing as “no cure”; nothing is impossible, because anything is possible! You can work a miracle and have a testimony even now.
Effect The Change Now
Instead of crying about the situation, lamenting how dire it is, effect a change by acting on the Word. Put your faith to work. Consider Moses and the children of Israel: the Red Sea was in front of them, with the fierce Egyptian army on their trail. Moses cried unto God for help. But God said, “Moses, stretch your hand over the water and divide it.” Moses did as he was instructed, and the Red Sea split wide open.
It makes no difference what’s before you, or behind you, use the Word to effect a change; calm the storm with the Word. Jesus didn’t say “nothing shall be impossible unto God”; rather, He said, “…nothing shall be impossible unto you” (Matthew 17:20). That means you can do anything, and be everything God has planned for you to be. Hallelujah!”
Pray This Prayer
“Dear Father, thank you for imparting faith to my spirit, and helping me build it strong with the Word. My faith is alive; there’s nothing impossible unto me; there’re no hopeless situations I can’t change, because I’m strong in faith. Thank you, Lord, for a life of unending victories, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
